Use identify when you have metadata, like a name and an artist, and need the one best matching canonical resource. The resource is returned with all of its attributes and relationships.

name is required and all parameters are limited to 256 characters. Parameters a type doesn't use are ignored.

Candidates are ranked by fuzzy similarity of name, artist and album, plus popularity.

For songs, duration is in milliseconds. A candidate whose duration is within 50 ms of it gets a ranking bonus that grows as the difference shrinks. Candidates outside that window aren't penalized. Values of 0 or less are ignored, and a non-integer value returns 400.

The response is Single<Song | Album | Artist>. The returned type matches the requested type. Returns 404 when nothing is found.
